Wakeboard Contest at Carlos State Park (north of Alexandria)

PRESS RELEASE "The Douglas County Environmental Health inspector has shut down our pool event citing that it is a "public pool" and he has jurisdiction over public pools. Apparently there is some animosity towards the bar owner and we are caught in the middle. So, we are not allowed to throw the Duel in the Pool event as planned. We will however be hosting a wakeboard contest at Carlos State Park just north of Alexandria. registration starts at 8:30 AM @ Anderson's Outpost 9462 State Highway 29 N Alexandria, MN 56308 (320) 852-7977. Cost is $35 with cash payout to first place, and prize packages for 2nd, and 3rd. We will offer a practice tow behind the Mastercraft X2 to all competitors that are there prior to 9:30 AM. Contest is expected to go until 3-5 PM with after party at Anderson's Outpost. Lot's of raffel prizes and fun to be had. We won't let the MAN get us down!! Hope to see you there!"
